    Whether your student is in kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, or high school, District 11's message must be "All Children Will Learn Here," and "Parents, Volunteers, Teachers, Staff, Community Members: You Are All Welcome Here."

    My vision starts with a simple statement, my promise.

    I am committed to Colorado Springs School District 11, to effective stewardship of our tax dollars, to proactive planning that considers the long term impact of today's solutions, decisions and actions and to respectfully listen to the concerns and suggestions of ALL our residents.

    I want our District 11 Team to focus on positive, timely solutions to challenges and to search for ways to achieve meaningful goals.

    I want our District to grow in the arts, in educational excellence, cultural diversity, attractiveness, and stature.

    And VERY important, I want our District's elected officials to expand their efforts to instill and reinforce the faith and trust of the residents in the spirit of true open government.

    I know that taxes and fees will always be an issue between residents, elected officials and District Management. I know there are times that taxes or fees are the reality of the situation. However, I also believe that citizen participation in research and discussions of alternatives and trade-offs should precede such funding decisions.

    It is time to build new, fresh and bold approaches to achieving Educational Excellence. It is time to look at what we do, cherish the good, discard the bad, and move forward and build on our future. It is time for us to step up together and build our future.

    We need to be dynamic, proactive and creative. I bring fresh leadership that is positive, honest, caring and committed to ALL citizens in District 11. I am sensitive to our students needs. I am committed to effective stewardship of our tax dollars.
